The quality of ingredients is key to the effectiveness of any product. All our skincare products are created using 100% Natural & hypoallergenic bases like Edible Veg Oils, therapeutic grade, or certified organic essential oils & herbal additives. Our ingredients are naturally sourced and primarily organic. Base Oils & essential oils are sustainably sourced from Certified Organic farms (USDA/NPOP/Ecocert/India Organic) to the extent possible. Unfortunately for some items, we still do not have an organic option, but our search is on. We never compromise on ingredients or techniques, so our products are of consistently high quality. Fragrances & scents are built into products through exclusively sourced Natural & Organic essential oils and colors that come only with natural pigments like annatto seeds, herbs, and clays. Most of the herbs and botanical add-ons are picked fresh/sun-dried at our own farm to ensure quality & freshness. Hence most of our products like our cold processed soap bars contain 80% Certified Organic ingredients & rest natural derivatives which are mentioned on the outer packaging of all soap bars.
The HERBAL, NATURAL & ORGANIC confusion?
Many cosmetic brands call their products “Herbal”, “Natural” and some “Organic”. How natural or organic are those? Difficult for the layman to understand as most of the brands reveal only some selected ingredients as “key ingredients” which might be natural and simply keep some names hidden. Some call their product “Herbal” or “Natural” but the ingredient list will have many chemical or synthetic add-ons like Sulphates, Paraben, Triclosan, and many more even difficult to pronounce.
- We call only those products of ours that contain more than 95% Certified Organic ingredients as “Organic”.
- Unlike many so-called Natural Skincare brands in the market, it’s our policy to mention all the ingredients used in each product explicitly on the packaging(no hidden ingredients).
- For all our products, it would be clearly mentioned on the packaging if the ingredients are from certified organic sources or if they are natural derivatives.
When we say it’s organic, it means that the item is sourced from an Organic Certified farm or Organic Certified supplier. This is our small gesture to honor and give due credit to the Organic farmers of our country who toils hard to keep their farm, the soil & its produce chemical free.
