Body Scrubs & Polishes

Org Sugar Body scrub polish-Citrus Mint

What are the benefits of La Flora Organics Body Scrubs?

Body scrubs, esp. Sugar scrubs are great for cleansing, exfoliating, and even moisturizing. Dead skin cells accumulate on the top layer of our skin, giving it a dull look. Sugar and salt are natural exfoliants. They are suitable for nearly all skin types and conditions.

Exfoliation is the gradual removal of the top layer of dead skin. Using a sugar scrub or any body scrub for exfoliation involves rubbing the sugar against your skin and the pressure/friction creates the exfoliation. The gentle abrasion removes damaged skin cells and settled pollutants and opens up clogged pores. As the scrub cleans and removes dead/damaged skin, it helps to prevent acne, blackheads, whiteheads, breakouts and skin blemishes.

Moisturizing: Sugar is soaked in organic, pure, exotic Carrier and Essential Oils like Sweet Almond Oil, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, etc. Sugar granules act as a carrier medium for this oil. When in contact with the skin during scrubbing, the sugar melts, allowing the oils to go deep into the opened-up skin pores, thereby giving extra shine, nourishment, and polishing to the skin. To get rid of unsightly bumps and reveal lighter, more glowing skin.

How to use La Flora Organics Sugar Body Scrub?

Wet skin under a warm shower. Scoop out with a dry spoon what you need. We recommend three to four spoonfuls of body scrub for your whole body. You can use more. Use a washcloth or your hands when scrubbing. Scrub from shoulders to toes in gentle movements. Do not over-scrub! You also don’t need to put “pressure” on your skin when scrubbing – the exfoliants in the scrub are enough to rid your skin of dead skin cells! Rinse with soap and water or just plain water. Towel dry. You will feel softer and smoother! Remember to close the jar well after use.

How to store the Sugar scrub and other bath & body scrubs.

Vitamin E oil is the only preservative used in Sugar body scrubs. While our other herbal body scrubs need to be mixed with water to make a paste and applied and hence do not contain any preservative whatsoever. Please keep the sugar scrubs away from water as bacteria simply love water. Do not dip contaminated, wet fingers, or hands into the jar.

Any moisturizer or lotion is required after a bath scrub?

It’s not necessary to put on moisturizer or lotion after using your scrub. Your skin will be incredibly moisturized and smooth after each use. You may use La Flora Organics bath oils like Jojoba Oil, or Sesame Oil, or Almond oil as a leave-on moisturizer if you want to extra super nourish your skin.
